Ghirardelli Classic Fudge

  • 2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 bar (2 oz) 100% cacao unsweetened chocolate baking bar, chopped
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c walnuts, chopped
1. Line an 8" square pan with wax paper.
2. Place all chocolate and condensed milk in a double broiler over hot, but not boiling, water.
3. Stir the mixture occasionally until the chocolate is melted.
4. Stir in the vanilla extract and nuts.
5. Spread fudge evenly in prepared baking pan.
6. Refrigerate for 2 hours, or until firm.
7. Store, uncovered, at room temperature
Makes 16 pieces.
