Golden Cupcakes

- 1 c softened butter
- 2 c granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- 1-1/3 c warm milk
- 4 tbsp sour cream
- 2-1/2 c all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Spray 2 cupcake tins with nonstick spray or line with cupcake papers.
- In a mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar until well blended.
- Beat in the eggs, vanilla, milk and sour cream.
- Fold in the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Blend until smooth, about 3-4 minutes.
- Spoon into prepared pans.
- Bake until cupcakes test done when gently pressed with fingertips, 25-30 minutes.
- Cool in pan 15 minutes before unmolding cupcakes to cool completely.
- Frost with your favorite frosting.
Makes 24 cupcakes.
