Hummus

*from Kroger
  • 1 (15oz) can chick peas
  • 3 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste)
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt to taste
  1. Drain chick peas and save the juice.
  2. Combine chick peas, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice in a food processor.
  3. While blending, add juice from the chick peas to reach the desired consistency.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Refrigerate any unused portion.
